Adelphi University is located in historic Garden City, New York. This safe, beautiful 30-hectare campus is conveniently located 45 minutes from New York City, and just a few kilometers from some of Long Island’s most beautiful beaches, parks, and cultural centers. Adelphi enrolls over 8,000 students from diverse backgrounds, including students from 41 states as well as over 200 international students from 47 countries. The Princeton Review named Adelphi University a “Best College in the Northeastern Region,” and the Fiske Guide to Colleges named the university a “Best Buy” in 2009. Adelphi was recently honored again, as a 2010 Fiske Guide “Best Buy.” This prestigious award is based on four- or five-star academic ratings, inexpensive or moderate price category, and quality of student life on campus. An important part of the Adelphi experience is the ability to interact and work directly with professors. Students enjoy a student/faculty ratio of 11 to 1, with an average class size of 21 students.
